At Prime baseball We provide a positive learning environment, challenging players to master the fundamentals and learn an advanced approach to the game while teaching kids how to excel and build character through teamwork.
Team Details:
We are a 13U Select / Travel team
Our roster will consist of 12 players
Our goal is to play 9-10 local tournaments, consisting of approximately 30 to 40 games. Our travel will range no further than Panama City to Pensacola.
Light practices begin November – Jan
Full season practices begin in February
Tournaments begin in Mar & last through July
Practice sessions will take place in Navarre.
About the coach:
I have been coaching baseball in some form for over six years. I have coached Cal Ripken, Dizzy Dean, Pony and Select Teams. I believe in motivating players through positive reinforcement. Every player learns differently and at different speeds, so communication between the coaching staff and players is key to learning and excelling in the areas that are needed to get young players ready for the next level. Players can and will learn advanced techniques if given the opportunity, and if a solid foundation is established. Kids have the ability to surprise you if you let them.
